Its because they conveniently fail to mention that on a large scale as well as oil the microbes consume oxygen in the water.

The depleted oxygen levels cases stuff in the water to die. Over large areas this leads to “dead zones” where everything dies. So yes while microbes are useful they also cause problems further up the food chain.

sounds like the interviews were dubbed at a different time

doesn’t sound like a real video

but the idea of microbes is very interesting…. hope that it’s true

we sure will need that in our gulf

Going to any beach or eating fish with oil on it is like chewing razor blades!  The oil is loaded with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) . The introduction of chemical dispersants increases the amount of carcinogens in the oil.

Shellfishing was closed for eight years in Buzzards Bay ,Massachusetts because of PAHs and even after the PAH level went down the shellfish locations stayed closed because the shellfish smelled and tasted like old rubber tires!

Some people who have breathed or touched mixtures of PAHs and other chemicals for long periods of time have developed cancer.

On April 27, 2003, eight years ago the Bouchard Barge B-120 hit an obstacle in Buzzards Bay, creating a 12-foot rupture in its hull and discharging an estimated 100,000 gallons of No. 6 oil. The oil is known to have affected an estimated 90 miles of shoreline, numerous bird species, and recreational use of the bay, such as shell fishing and boating.

The spill wash up & ?smell-chemicals are real. I saw a site where this is all a hoax; like the “faked” moon landings & of course-Elvis’s body missing-(bad joke).

    It’s ruined an a;ready faltering economy-if you’ve seen the beaches of SOWAL.com
you can see it’s something sacred.

Not to mention the waivers captains of charter b & fishing boats sign to waiver any BP responsibility.-(If oil gets in the engine-oops.-Sorry-so goes the Capt that took his life.No one cares-least of all Bp.) this is pretty real.

I dont do national bought & paid for news-so there’s my disclaimer.

Make of it what you will-it’s destroyed lives-for years?-forever>?
